Naturalization ceremony at WVC April 17

Wenatchee Valley College will host a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Naturalization Ceremony this Wednesday from 6-7 p.m. in the Wells Hall Campus Theater. Approximately 30 new American citizens will be sworn in at the ceremony. The WVC Foundation is providing refreshments for the ceremony.

In addition to friends and family members, Aaron Parrott, WVC Adult Basic Skills Programs Coordinator, said English as a Second Language students will attend the ceremony as part of the integration of civics activities into the ESL curriculum.

Ticketing will be suspended tomorrow evening; parking is available in any of the college parking lots on Fifth and Ninth Streets.
